Spring Awakening at Golden Ponds

There’s something special about those first few weeks at Golden Ponds when the air finally starts to soften.

Spring Awakening at Golden Ponds

At Golden Ponds This past Saturday you could see the winter snow slowly retreating from the peaks of Longs Peak, and the St. Vrain is running a little faster and louder, fueled by the mountain melt.

It feels like the whole landscape is waking up—from the first signs of green along the riverbank to the way the sunlight hits the water with a bit more warmth. It’s a beautiful reminder that no matter how long the winter feels, life always finds its way back, and there is a purpose in every transition.

A Word to Carry With You

"See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come."
Song of Solomon 2:11-12
